What the prices say

Until October 8, Nebius charged one fixed preemptible price per GPU in every region. Since then each GPU in each region has its own spot price, which can change every 15 minutes between a floor ($0.79 for H200, H100 and RTX PRO 6000; $0.99 for B300 and B200) and a cap one cent below the on-demand price. At the cap, spot saves just a cent an hour over renting on demand.

Against the old fixed prices, the past week’s averages are up for B300 (50%) and RTX PRO 6000 (7%) and down for H200 (26%), B200 (37%) and H100 (63%). B300 has been the dearest relative to its on-demand price, at 68%; H100 the cheapest, at 18%.

Over the past week, B300 had at least one region at its cap 39% of the time, never all 3 at once; H200 had at least one region at its cap 4% of the time, never all 3 at once; RTX PRO 6000 had at least one region at its cap 2% of the time, never all 3 at once. Right now 1 of H200’s 3 regions is at the cap. H100 sat at the floor the whole week. At least one region was at its floor 88% of the week for RTX PRO 6000 and 67% for H200.

Regions can be far apart. Over the week, H200 averaged $2.69 in eu-west1 and $1.06 in us-central1, 2.5 times as much.

Method

Source. Nebius’s billing API publishes the spot price of every preemptible GPU it rents: one price per GPU, compute platform and region, in US dollars per GPU-hour before tax, open to anyone without signing in. We pull it in 15-minute steps, the last price in each step, twice a day. Nebius keeps 30 days; we keep everything, from September 20, 2026.

Index. For each GPU, the average of its regions’ prices at each step, with equal weights, since Nebius doesn’t publish how much capacity each region has. A region joins the average when Nebius starts quoting it, and drops off this page after a day without a quote. The hourly line averages each hour’s four steps.

Seven-day average. The index averaged over the 672 15-minute steps in the seven days to each hour, shown once at least 90% of them have a price. Each step carries the last price in it, so this is a time-weighted average to within a step. The averages for each region in the table are the same calculation on that region alone; a region quoted for less than a week shows its average since its first quote.

Floor and cap. Floors are $0.79 for H200, H100 and RTX PRO 6000, and $0.99 for B300 and B200. The cap is one cent below the on-demand price, which since October 1, 2026 has been $9.50 for B300, $8.50 for B200, $5.40 for H200, $4.50 for H100 and $1.80 for RTX PRO 6000, from Nebius’s price list as recorded by UsagePricing. Each 15-minute step is compared with the prices in force on its date. Since October 8, prices have reached every floor and the caps for B300, H200 and RTX PRO 6000, to the cent.

Before October 8. Preemptible prices were fixed: $4.30 for B300, $3.95 for B200, $2.45 for H200, $2.15 for H100 and $0.95 for RTX PRO 6000. The first prices moved between 10:30 and 10:45 UTC that day.

Updates. Prices are pulled and the tracker rebuilt twice a day; the time at the top is the latest price. Daily averages by GPU and region, with seven-day averages: nebius-spot-daily.csv.
